The structure consists of a main hall intended for the maintenance of the aircrafts and an administration division located on the rear side. Main hall has a 80.00m span and a 90.20 m length with a clear height of 21.00 m measured from the lowest point in the roof truss to the ground level. Administration division, a single-story building located at the rear side of the structure, has dimensions of 80.00 m by 10.00 m with a height of 5.50m. Structural system of the roof is designed as frame trusses located in two directions. Trusses are placed 8.00m apart in one direction and 8.20m apart in the other direction. These trusses are supported by means of 26.0 m high simply supported columns. Diagonals and tension bars are placed on the roof and side walls in order to overcome horizontal forces. There is a 21.0m high and 80.0 m. wide opening for the front gate of the hangar. In order to form this vast space, a single span truss frame system with fixed supports is designed.
