Kraftvärmeverket Torsvik (CHP plant) is a waste to energy recycling plant owned and operated by the local energy company Jönköping Energi AB located near the city of Jönköping, Sweden. The facility includes a unique heat pump and flue gas condensing stage providing maximum total thermal efficiency of the plant. The energy produced is a combination of electricity and heat converted from municipal and commercial waste.
The structural project covered the detail drawings of the steel construction necessary for the plant including the platforms, stairs and secondary steel members.
