The dormitory facility in Tophane consists of 2 reinforced concrete buildings. 7 story high 1st block has a grid of 3.90m x 3.90m and 8 story high 2nd block has a grid of 4.20m x 4.00m. Both buildings are reinforced by means of r.c walls placed in two directions to fulfill the requirements of the new seismic code.
