The major purpose for constructing “Palace of Peace” building in Astana was to gather people from 12 different religions under the roof of a multi disciplinary cultural center. “Palace of Peace” consists of a reinforced concrete opera house between elevations -0.200m and +14.100m. as well as a 60m. high square pyramid built in steel for various cultural activities above elevation +14.100m. Steel structure above elevation +14.100m is in the form of a square pyramid with 60.00m long sides on the base. The height of the pyramid is 60m. In the middle of this main structure a void in the shape of a second pyramid is formed with 36.00m by 36.00m base dimensions and a height of 36m. In between these two pyramids 7 platforms are designed at various elevations.
